When Your Riding Buddy Stops Showing Up

The speaker argues that when a riding buddy stops showing up, it's often not about the riding but about unspoken personal struggles. Mark's story shows that assuming silence means rejection can be wrong, and that a simple, low-pressure invitation like 'Coffee Sunday' can repair a friendship without requiring a big conversation or a ride.

He Built His Dream Harley… Then Rode a Buell Super Cruiser

Blair argues that a Buell Super Cruiser prototype feels more at home to him than his own custom Harley, which he spent thousands of miles and $32,000 building. He attributes this to the Buell's stability and confidence-inspiring cornering, especially on twisty roads, and admits it achieves the handling he was still chasing with his Harley's suspension. Despite the Buell's advantages, he notes the Harley's custom touches and personalization, and he plans to customize the Buell when he gets his own.

Harley vs Indian: He Loved the FTR… But There Was a Catch

The speaker argues that the Indian FTR Carbon is visually and performance-wise impressive, but he would still choose a Harley-Davidson Street Bob over the Indian Chief due to the lack of mechanical vibration and noise. He also notes that while the Challenger's adjustable windshield is not a gimmick, he has reservations about Indian's aftermarket support, resale value, and dealer network, which influence his buying decision.

Harley-Davidson Trike Recall: It Braked Without Warning

A Harley-Davidson recall for certain 2019-2020 trikes involved unintended rear brake application due to a software fault, which could increase crash risk. The fix was a free software update, but the speaker argues that buyers should verify recall repair history by VIN, since a clean NHTSA search doesn't mean the bike was never recalled. The video also highlights a lawsuit alleging the defect caused a fatal crash, though the outcome is not final.

Sportster vs Street Bob: Did Harley Lose Its Soul?

Harley-Davidson's shift from the air-cooled Sportster to the Milwaukee-8-powered Street Bob trades a cheap, customizable blank canvas for a more powerful, finished motorcycle, the reviewer argues. The old Sportster's appeal lay in its low seat, manageable weight, and vast aftermarket, while the Street Bob offers more power, electronics, and factory equipment but at a higher price and with less room for personalization. The reviewer concludes that the newer bike wins on specifications but loses the accessible, DIY spirit that defined the Sportster.
