Seeking the Good, the Social Reign of Christ, and Not Just Crumbs (2022 Sermon)

The speaker argues that Catholics must not settle for lesser evils or damage control but must actively seek the Catholic State and the full social reign of Christ. He insists that society should be steeped in Catholic principles, with the state favoring the true religion and the Church, and that Catholics should vote for the least worst only as a temporary measure while aiming for the good. He also emphasizes that the spiritual war is primary, with the Tridentine Mass as a key means of ordering everything to God.

Saint Thérèse: Faith, Humility, and a Spirit of Abandonment

Saint Thérèse's spirituality centers on an unshakable faith in God's merciful love, profound humility, and holy abandonment to His will. She argues that even in the midst of sin or imperfection, one should trust in God's love and approach Him without relying on one's own worthiness, as exemplified by her willingness to be a 'little toy' in Jesus's hands. Her humility is shown in her joy at feeling imperfect, which she saw as a grace that deepened her dependence on God's mercy.

Saint Michael the Archangel as a way to fulfill what God expects of us

Saint Michael the Archangel is the guardian angel of all the elect, and devotion to him helps remove demonic obstacles that hinder cooperation with God's graces, the speaker argues. He explains that responding to simple graces like prayer forms a chain that enables greater graces, ultimately leading to salvation, and recommends keeping a blessed candle burning before images of Saint Michael and Our Lady to ward off demonic influence.

True Mercy

Loving without liking: the wisdom the world has lost
