NQ Futures Price Action Commentary

The speaker argues that the market tends to be fluffed up in the week before US midterm elections, and he uses this bias to anticipate higher prices. He demonstrates how to grade daily candle wicks and consequent encroachments to create a 'fireman's ladder' of inversion fair value gaps that can guide intraday entries on lower time frames. He also emphasizes that losses are a cost of gaining market intel, and that a sound model should be trusted even when it results in losses.

Market Review On NQ December Price Delivery

The speaker argues that when a weekly range fails to form a TGIF (Thank God It's Friday) pattern, the next week often retraces into 20-40% of that range, with 35% as a common target. He demonstrates this through a live tape reading of NQ futures, showing how price used fair value gaps and consequent encroachment levels to reach his pre-announced objective of 29,950. He emphasizes that reading candlestick bodies within these gaps indicates bullish or bearish order flow, and that focusing on a few high-probability levels is more effective than tracking many scenarios.

NonFarm Payroll October 2026 Lecture

The Inner Circle Trader argues that trading non-farm payroll releases is gambling and advises waiting 15-20 minutes after the news to trade the retracement against the initial move. He demonstrates using a Fibonacci retracement from the post-news high to an old daily high to identify an 'event horizon' midpoint, where he shorts, targeting engineered sell-side liquidity below. He emphasizes that candlestick behavior, not volume or indicators, reveals smart money activity, and that traders should only use a few key concepts rather than the entire ICT toolbox.

NQ AM Session Review 09/30/2026

The speaker reviews the Nasdaq's price action, showing how it filled Monday's regular trading hours open range gap and then respected it as resistance. He explains his entry using an inversion fair value gap and a close proximity buy stop, and he advises new or impulsive traders to lock themselves out of trading during non-farm payroll weeks due to the unpredictable price action.
