The Playbook I Used To Hit $10K/Month

Frederick James argues that a simple habit tracker app can generate over $10,000 per month by focusing on premium design and using paid ads as the primary growth channel. He details a playbook starting with Apple Search Ads, targeting competitor keywords, and then scaling with TikTok ads by remaking viral videos and using goal-based budget increases to let the algorithm optimize for a target cost per acquisition. He cautions that paid ads require upfront risk and thin margins, and recommends combining multiple marketing channels for sustainability.

I quit my job to build this micro-saas. Now it makes $30K/month

Charlie Clark argues that a simple link-in-bio tool can succeed even against a dominant competitor like Linktree by focusing on better design and customization. He grew Links to $31,500 MRR by starting with manual outreach, then scaling with Instagram ads and later Google search ads, and he advises against giving up too early, instead recommending to iterate on a validated idea and commit to it.

This app is making $2,000 PER DAY

Rasty Turek argues that a simple, proven app idea can succeed without viral marketing or paid ads, citing his encrypted storage app Vault Air, which grew from $66 in its first month to over $40,000 in a single month. He attributes this growth to a daily automated SEO strategy that publishes one high-quality guide per day, targeting long-tail keywords that competitors ignore, and notes that his app's conversion rate actually increases over time, with most revenue coming from lifetime purchases.

I built this app for my dad. Now it makes $18K/month

Koresh argues that in a crowded market, the product that wins is the one customers see first, not necessarily the best one. He built Voicy, a speech-to-text app, by targeting seniors and people with disabilities who see it as a painkiller, unlike tech-savvy users who see it as a vitamin. He advises founders to focus on the easiest market and to prioritize quantity of output over perfectionism.

My First SaaS Project Just Hit $11K/Month

A 19-year-old founder argues that the key to growing a SaaS app to $11K/month is a simple, daily 45-minute routine of copying competitors' viral UGC formats on Instagram. He reports that by analyzing and replicating the exact hooks, audio, and transitions of proven content, and posting 3-6 times a day, he grew a new account to 10.8K followers and scaled revenue without paid ads. He emphasizes that this strategy works best for B2C founders and that simplifying workflows is crucial for solo founders in the AI age.
